줄거리

“이니셜D” 이후 미래, 서기 202X년. 자동차의 자동 운행 시스템이 보급된 일본. 그런 시대속에 공도 자동차 레이스가 개최되고 있었다. 전세계에서 큰 인기를 모은 레이스의 이름은 MFG. 포르쉐, 페라리, 람보르기니 등 최고의 속도를 자랑하는 머신이 차례차례 참전하고 있었다. 한편, 영국의 레이싱 스쿨을 졸업한 드라이버, 카나타 리빙턴은 특정 목적을 달성하기 위해 일본으로 귀국했다—.
