Advertising Policy and Creative Specs

Watchvoy (watchvoy.com) is a legal where-to-watch guide used by viewers of all ages in many countries. Every campaign and creative is reviewed by a person before it runs. This policy is part of the advertiser agreement.

Prohibited

• Piracy and unlicensed streaming: pirate sites, unlicensed IPTV, "free movie" apps, torrent and download tools, account resellers, or VPNs promoted for getting around licences.
• Illegal or unlicensed gambling and betting, and any gambling advertising in Türkiye.
• Adult or sexually explicit content, escort and dating services with sexual focus.
• Weapons, ammunition and explosives, drugs and drug paraphernalia, tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaping products.
• Counterfeit goods, malware, phishing, hidden subscriptions and any software that changes browser or system settings without clear consent.
• Deceptive or misleading content: fake system warnings, fake play buttons, false claims, fake reviews, "miracle" health or weight-loss claims, get-rich-quick schemes.
• Hate speech, discrimination, violence and content that exploits tragedies.
• Political, election and issue ads.
• Ads that collect personal data without a clear privacy notice.

Restricted

• Alcohol: not accepted in Türkiye. Elsewhere only where legal, targeted to countries where it is allowed, never on anime or family content.
• Financial products, crypto assets and trading: only licensed providers, with the required risk warnings, and only in countries where they may advertise.
• Prescription medicines, medical services and supplements: only where the law of the target country allows it.
• Dating, lotteries and competitions: only lawful services with clear terms.
• Streaming services, film releases and merchandise are welcome, but must come from the rights holder or an authorised partner.

Children

Ads must not target children or exploit their inexperience. Ads that run on anime or family titles must be suitable for all ages.

Quality and honesty

• The ad must clearly show who the advertiser is, and the offer must match the landing page.
• Landing pages must work, load over https, not auto-download files, not open pop-ups or redirect chains and must show a privacy notice if they collect data.
• No flashing faster than three times per second, no auto-play sound, and no animation longer than 30 seconds.
• Comparative ads, prices and discounts must be accurate and comply with Turkish advertising rules and the law of the target country.
• Every ad is labelled "Advertisement" by Watchvoy. Do not imitate Watchvoy's interface or buttons.

Creative specs

• Banner sizes: 728×90, 970×90, 970×250, 300×250, 336×280, 300×600, 320×100, 320×50 (pixels). Upload images at exactly this size. A creative appears only in placements and screen widths that use its size.
• Image: JPG, PNG, GIF or WEBP, up to 8 MB. Keep files small for fast pages: under 150 KB is recommended.
• HTML5: a single self-contained HTML document, up to 100 KB. It runs in a sandboxed iframe (scripts and pop-ups allowed, no access to cookies, storage or the parent page). Use the clickTag variable for the click URL. No external trackers or third-party scripts.
• Video: a VAST tag (VAST 2.0 to 4.x) served over https. Video ads run only before public-domain films from the Internet Archive and are skippable after a few seconds. Up to 30 seconds is recommended.
• Click URL: an https landing page. Clicks are counted by Watchvoy and redirected. You may add your own UTM parameters.
