줄거리

밝은 미래를 약속하는 외딴 얼음 행성. 이곳에서 희귀한 에너지 자원을 발굴하던 죄수들이 반갑지 않은 손님이자 치명적인 생명체를 깨운다. 평단의 찬사를 받는 만화가 오타가키 야스오. 《문라이트 마일》 《기동전사 건담 썬더볼트》 등 스펙터클한 SF 작품으로 유명한 그가 새로운 오리지널 스토리를 내놓는다. 일본과 해외의 여러 인재가 합심해 만든 SF 대작으로 놓쳐선 안 될 작품. 마크로스 시리즈 등의 메카닉 디자인으로 유명한 카와모리 쇼지, 《데빌맨 크라이베이비》의 악마 캐릭터 디자이너 오시야마 키요타카가 이번 작품의 메카닉 디자인을 맡았다. 눈과 얼음으로 뒤덮인 행성. 이곳에는 강력한 에너지원인 귀한 광석이 묻혀 있다. 겉으로 보면 범죄라곤 없는 유토피아 같지만, 실제로는 죄수들이 고된 광석 채취 작업에 이용되고 있다. 어느 날 채광장에서 돌발 사고가 발생하고, 현장으로 달려간 젊은 교도관 짐의 눈앞에는 끔찍한 장면이 펼쳐진다. 정체불명의 생명체가 인간들을 공격하고 있는 것이다.

The snowy, ice-covered planet Coldfoot is home to a precious energy-rich ore called “sig.” On the surface, the planet seems to be a crime-free utopia, but in reality prisoners are used for back-breaking sig mining. Jim, a young prison guard, rushes to the site of a sudden mining accident to find a mysterious creature attacking the humans.
