Beschrijving
Het Leverage-team (oplichter Sophie Devereaux, dief Parker, gevechtsexpert Eliot Spencer en hacker Alec Hardison) is getuige geweest van hoe de wereld de afgelopen acht jaar is veranderd. Sinds zijn laatste baan is het voor de rijken gemakkelijker (en soms legaal) om rijker te worden en voor de machtigen om iedereen die hen in de weg staat te verpletteren. Om de veranderingen in de wereld om hen heen aan te pakken, vindt het team nieuw bloed in Harry Wilson, een bedrijfsjurist die op zoek is naar verlossing nadat hij zich realiseerde dat hij zijn hele carrière aan de verkeerde kant van de tafel heeft gezeten, en Breanna Casey, de geadopteerde zus van Hardison die een talent voor computers, robotica... en in de problemen komen.

On the run from a busted heist in Paris, the Leverage team finds themselves taking shelter among oligarchs auctioning off their home nations' precious resources. On the fly they have to create an entirely new con to take down the group's ringleader and save a well-intentioned activist.

The team conducts a sting to snare a corrupt judge by using the perfect undercover briber - a completely virtual tech visionary generated by A.I. - only to watch as their "Digital Frankenstein" quickly spins out of control.

While the villain spins his own version of how he was wrongfully destroyed, the team tries to unravel the con Parker's running as a solo side job… or is she? The team must play catch up as they find themselves drafted into her machinations.
