Beschrijving
Acht jaar geleden werd Nanoka Kiba gered uit het wrak van een dodelijk ongeluk in het winkelcentrum van Gogyō Town. Aangetrokken door de verlaten winkelstraat op weg naar huis van school, wordt ze op onverklaarbare wijze getransporteerd naar de Taishō-periode in Japan, waar ze de mysterieuze Mao ontmoet, een medereiziger die tegelijk met haar aankomt in een dorp dat bewoond wordt door geesten. Samen onderzoeken ze de bizarre gebeurtenissen die zich om hen heen beginnen af te spelen, en al snel puzzelt Nanoka haar fragmentarische herinneringen aan het ongeluk bij elkaar en ontdekt ze dat zij en Mao mogelijk iets sinisterders met elkaar gemeen hebben.
