Beschrijving
Takumi Nishijou, een middelbare scholier aan de Private Suimei Academy, hoort op een dag over de 'nieuwe generatie'-moorden die in de stad plaatsvinden. Hoewel hij het onderwerp afwijst omdat hij er niet bij betrokken is, begint Takumi vreemde ongelukken om hem heen te ervaren, van een gruwelijke foto die hij ontving terwijl hij op zijn pc zat, tot een mysterieus rozeharig meisje dat op een moordscène staat. Vanaf dat moment worstelt Takumi met het omgaan met de gebeurtenissen die zich om hem heen afspelen, en is hij zich al snel niet bewust van wat echt is of een waanidee. Terwijl zijn lot voor hem opengaat, probeert de dader achter de 'New Gen'-gebeurtenissen hem te vinden, waardoor hij naar een wereld wordt geleid waar niets is wat het lijkt.
