《Tokyo Vice》改編自美國記者傑克阿德爾斯坦（Jake Adelstein）在 2009 年出版，描寫了對東京都警視廳的回憶錄《Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan》，由《奧斯陸密談》舞台劇東尼獎得主J.T.
