Beschrijving
Watchmen speelt zich af in een alternatieve, hedendaagse realiteit in de Verenigde Staten. Gemaskerde burgerwachten zijn door de overheid verbannen vanwege hun gewelddadige methoden. Ondanks dit verzamelen sommigen zich om een revolutie te beginnen, terwijl anderen erop uit zijn om deze te stoppen voordat het te laat is. Wanneer een van hen wordt vermoord beginnen ze een onderzoek naar de dader. De grote vraag is echter, wie houdt de burgerwachten in de gaten?
