Beschrijving
In de periode van de Strijdende Staten van het oude China (475–221 vGT) zijn Shin en Hyou oorlogswezen in het koninkrijk Qin. Ze dromen ervan zichzelf ooit te bewijzen op het slagveld. Op een dag wordt Hyou echter door een minister naar het paleis gebracht. Hyou belandt aan de verliezende kant van een machtsstrijd en slaagt erin om nauwelijks levend terug te keren naar het dorp. Shin ontmoet dan een jongen die sterk op Hyou lijkt, Ei Sei. Voorlopig is hij de koning van Qin; later zal hij keizer Shi Huangdi worden.
