Overview
Robotic cat Doraemon is sent back in time from the 22nd century to protect 10-year-old Noby, a lazy and uncoordinated boy who is destined to have a tragic future. Doraemon can create secret gadgets from a pocket on his stomach, but they usually cause more bad than good because of Noby's propensity to misuse them.

He borrows a "Switching Rope" from Doraemon, which allows them to switch bodies while keeping their minds the same. The two immediately switch bodies. Shizuka, now in Nobita's form, is overjoyed to enjoy tree climbing, something she had always wanted, and to do well in baseball. She says she wants to stay like this for a while.
