Isabel est une scénariste prometteuse qui a consacré sa vie à devenir l'auteure d’une série de prime time. Quand l'occasion se présente, elle est trahie par son mentor, Lauro Diniz. À la sortie de la série, quand Isabel décide de faire face à Lauro, elle se retrouve comme par magie à l'intérieur de son feuilleton, en tant qu’héroïne. Ce sera l’occasion pour Isabel de montrer ses talents créatifs.

On the premiere of Rebound of Fate, Isabel goes to the party to reveal to the world how renowned author Lauro Diniz stole her soap opera. But Isabel has a bit too much to drink and her revenge plan turns on her when she's sucked into a magic monitor. Isabel wakes up in a factory's nursery. Has she drunk herself to insanity, or is this her worst hangover yet?

Isabel finds out what happens during the soap opera commercial breaks. On the network, Lauro and his team are trying to figure out how all hell broke loose without anyone noticing. Isabel meets the members of the Porto Carrero family and, the more she gets involved in the plot, the farther she is from finding a way out of there

É3 The Impossible Cannot be Possible
On the day after the premiere, Lauro wakes up in his office and is warned by Marta: Walter, the network's owner, wants to talk. Besides him, Lauro will also have to face Grazi, the protagonist who's been replaced by Isabel, who feels betrayed by the entire crew. Inside the soap opera, Isabel uses Inácio's wake to try and convince the family that they're living in a fiction.

É4 The Return of Those who Never Left
Isabel's meeting with the Extra turns out to be a literal one-way street, but she considers a plan to speed up the end of Rebound: to seduce the good guy, João Marcelo, and get him on the altar, for that's how soap operas end. The romantic pair's entanglement forces Lauro to change the plot with the return of Geraldo, Inácio's twin brother and, supposedly, Isabel's father.

É5 You Buy What You Sow
Isabel tries to prove to João Marcelo that they're not siblings, but Lauro sends the good guy on a business trip in Europe, with no return date. To pass time, Isabel throws herself into the plots and is the protagonist for all the product placements the production had included in the soap opera. On set, Dênis and Cássia clash, and the argument sets off a personal crisis for the renowned actress.

É6 My Love, My Nemesis
João Marcelo's return awakens hope on Isabel that she might leave the soap opera, but he has a surprise: Isadora, his French fiancée. On the network, Grazi is feeling the increased weight of shooting and pressures Lauro into making Isadora the new protagonist. Isabel realizes that she's being excluded from the main plot and becomes closer to Chiara, in order to win João Marcelo back.

É7 Cats and Mouses
Isabel's discovery of Lauro and Lupi's relationship changes her situation within the soap opera, but she doesn't lose focus of her goal of marrying João Marcelo in order to get out of there. However, they both find themselves entangled in a kidnapping that not only puts their romantic entanglement at risk, but also the lives of the main leads.

É8 Everything Ends When It's Over
Inside and outside of Rebound of Fate, all plots head into their climaxes. During the kidnapping, Roberto reveals the truth about Ultralux and the accident that killed Maristela, but he demands a trial by fire from Isabel for her to earn her inheritance. But Isabel has become too involved at that point to agree to just any ending.
