Trama
Ambientato 51 anni prima degli eventi narrati in Battlestar Galactica (2003), questo prequel esplorerà le vite di due famiglie: i Graystone - tra i quali Daniel, il padre, genio dei computer, Amanda, la madre, un brillante chirurgo, e Zoe, la loro figlia - e gli Adama. Le due famiglie si ritrovano su posizioni opposte riguardo la decisione di creare i Cylon: robot intelligenti che un giorno si ribelleranno e quasi annienteranno la popolazione di Caprica.
