Overview
John on vasta 17-vuotias, mutta jo yksi New Yorkin klubiskenen kuumimmista DJ-tähdistä. Yliannostus vie nuoren miehen oikeuteen, minkä seurauksena Joshin on pakko muuttaa pikkukaupunkiin isälleen, jota hän hädin tuskin tuntee. Josh yrittää pitää matalaa profiilia ja päästä mahdollisimman pian takaisin New Yorkiin jatkamaan normaalielämää. Kun paikalliskoulun tanssiryhmän vetäjä Mary pistää merkille Joshin musikaaliset taidot ja vetää tämän mukaansa avustamaan musiikkivalinnoissa, alkaa vanha kotikaupunki antaa Joshille jotain, mitä hän ei olisi koskaan luullut sieltä löytävänsä.
