Overview

Solo on USA:n aseteknologian uusin taidonnäyte, täydelliseksi tappajaksi suunniteltu androidi, jonka uskotaan syrjäyttävän normaalit ihmissotilaat ylivertaisten voimiensa ja tarkoin ohjelmoidun toimintaprotokollansa ansioista. Solon kehittäessä jonkinlaisen moraalikäsityksen ja kieltäytyessä surmaamasta viattomia sivullisia tehtävänsä loppuunsaattamiseksi, heräävät kuitenkin epäluulot täydellisen tappokoneen toimintavarmuutta kohtaan. Tapauksen seurauksena puolustusvoimien komentajat päättävät hyllyttää Solon ympärille rakennetun aseprojektin, mutta olemassaoloaan varjeleva androidi pakenee luojiltaan, päätyen Etelä-Amerikan viidakoissa sijaitsevan pikkukylän asukkaiden kotikonnuille. Hirmuvallalla aluetta terrorisoivan sotilasryhmittymän varjossa elävät kyläläiset saavat Solosta kaipaamansa suojelijan, mutta myös Solon kehittäjät pääsevät nopeasti luomuksensa jäljille.
