Overview
New Yorkissa elävä opiskelijatyttö Lucy nousee Bushwickin metroasemalta keskelle totaalista sisällissotaa. Maailman seitsemänneksi cooleimmassa naapurustossa on käynnissä verilöyly, kun itsenäistymään pyrkivän Texasin armeija teloittaa jalankulkijoita kadulle. Luodeilta ja räjähdyksiltä piiloutuva Lucy löytää Irakin sodassa palvelleen juron ex-sotilaan Stupen, joka liittyy Lucyn seuraan pitkin hampain. Seuraa vauhdikas kujanjuoksu halki helvetiksi luhistuneen hipsterilähiön, jossa vihollisen partiot, helikopterit, tankit ja joka puolelta viuhuvat luodit voivat katkaista paon hetkenä minä hyvänsä. Texasin liipasinherkät punaniskat ovat kuitenkin laskelmoineet pieleen: kun urbaani sota kolkuttaa kotiovelle, pistää etnisesti monenkirjava väestökin taatusti kampoihin.
