He debuted in June 2014 as U-KISS's rapper, vocalist and maknae with their 9th mini-album, Mono Scandal. In 2017, he entered the singing survival show The Unit and ended up in 1st place, earning a spot in the show's resulting project group. He re-debuted in April 2018 as UNB's main vocalist, rapper, lead dancer and center with their first mini-album, Boyhood.
