Sinopsis
La estudiante de secundaria Karin Maaka es inusual, incluso entre su propia clase. A diferencia de su familia de vampiros, desde que era niña, Karin sufrió de policitemia: un trastorno raro que causa que periódicamente produzca cantidades excesivas de sangre. Y mientras más sangre produce, más anémica y aturdida se vuelve, lo que finalmente lleva a sangrados nasales frecuentes. ¿Su única solución? Forzar su exceso de sangre a extraños al azar lo que, sorprendentemente, hace que estas "víctimas" sean más vivaces y felices que antes. Con sus hermanos ayudándola a que sus habilidades sigan siendo un secreto, alteraran los recuerdos de los humanos afectados. Hasta que el recién transferido compañero de clase de Karin, Kenta Usui, encuentra su comportamiento sospechoso. Y para complicar aún más las cosas, Karin siente que su sangre reacciona inusualmente a la presencia de Kenta.
