Vu que la Terre est devenue surpeuplée, un projet ambitieux a été élaboré pour rendre habitable la planète Mars. Une espèce de cafard pouvant résister à cette atmosphère hostile a été envoyée pour absorber la lumière du soleil, mais l’insecte a muté sous une forme humanoïde aussi intelligente qu’agressive. Davis lead crew members with special powers to try to resolve both of these issues.
